This page describes how to manage the website www.starsystem.biz in relation to the processing of personal data of users who consult it.

This is a statement for the processing of personal data that is provided pursuant to Articles. 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No. 679/2016 (GDPR) for users of the services of our website, which are provided via the Internet. The information does not apply to other websites that may be consulted through our links, except, limited to the sites owned by Starsystem IT S.r.l., in cases where it is expressly referred to through the appropriate link.

1. The Data Controller

The holder of the processing of personal data relating to natural persons, identified or identifiable, processed following consultation of our site, is STARSYSTEM IT Srl – Località Fratte 49 – c/o CENTRO COMMERCIALE PONTE REGIO – Pergine Valsugana (TN)

2. Purpose of data processing, legal basis of lawfulness of data processing and source of data

Personal data, provided by users who request services, are used for the purpose of:

a) provide the requested information and/or carry out negotiations and/or other activities necessary for the pre-contractual phase at the request of the interested party, or execute any contracts concluded with the interested party, pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1, letter. b) of the GDPR;

b) for reasons relating to the fulfilment of accounting, tax and other obligations to which the holder is subject under current legislation, pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c), of the GDPR;

c) for the sending of newsletters, commercial information and advertising material for products and services provided by the owner, including by e-mail, with the prior consent of the interested party, pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1, letter. a), of the GDPR;

d) for technical reasons related to the operation of the website, including technical cookies, with the prior consent of the person concerned, pursuant to Directive 2009/136/EC of 25.09.2009, Legislative Decree no. 69 of 28.05.2012 and Measure of the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data no. 229 of 08.05.2014 (Identification of simplified procedures for the information and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies).

Where the personal data have not been provided by the interested party following a request for information sent by the latter, or during the negotiation and conclusion of contracts and / or during the execution of the same, the data may come, for the purposes referred to in paragraph 2, letter. c), from sources accessible to the public (public directories and registers, corporate and / or institutional websites, public pages of social networks, telephone directories).

3. Types of data processed

a) Data voluntarily provided by users

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as the acquisition of any other personal data (common) included in the message or provided in any subsequent activities related to pre-contractual negotiations and / or the conclusion and execution of contracts.

The person concerned is not required to provide sensitive data, i.e. data belonging to particular categories, as described in art. 9 of the GDPR, i.e. data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, or dealing with genetic data, or biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, or data relating to health or sex life or sexual orientation of the person; nor the provision of judicial data described in art. 10 of the GDPR.

b) Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified parties, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site, the time of the request.

These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its proper functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

c) Cookies

Cookies are text elements that are inserted into the hard disk of a computer only after authorization. Cookies have the function of streamlining the analysis of web traffic or to signal when a specific site is visited and allow web applications to send information to individual users. No user data is acquired by the site for this purpose. Cookies are not used for the transmission of personal information, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind, or systems for tracking users, used. 4. Place and subjects authorized to the treatment

The processing operations connected with the web services of this site take place at the headquarters of our Internet service provider (appointed as external maintenance agent and data processor).

Treatments related to negotiations and other pre-contractual activities at the request of the data subject and to the conclusion and execution of contracts may also take place at the registered office of the data controller.

Personal data may be known by the data controller and by employees and/or collaborators of the data controller in their capacity as data processors or authorised processors.

5. Data communication

No data from the web service is communicated.

Eventual additional personal data may be communicated for the purposes referred to in paragraph 2, letter a-b, to the following parties, having the function of owner or manager:

a) credit institutions;

b) consultants (accountants, tax assistance centres, etc.)

c) transport and logistics companies;

d) external IT support companies;

e) insurance companies;

f) in general, to all those public and private subjects whose communication is necessary for the correct fulfilment of the purposes indicated in point 2, letter a-b.

Personal data are not subject to disclosure.

6. Data communication abroad

Personal data may not be transferred to countries outside the European Union or international organisations.

7. Methods of data processing

Personal data resulting from the web service are processed by computer in the manner and within the limits necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected.

Eventual additional data, collected for the purposes referred to in paragraph 2, letter a-b) may be processed with or without the aid of electronic, computerized or otherwise automated.

Personal data is not subject to an automated decision-making process, including profiling.

Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

8. Data retention times

The personal data, subject to processing will be stored:

a) for the purposes indicated in point 2, letter a)-b) above, for the period of time strictly necessary to provide the requested information and/or to carry out negotiations and/or other activities necessary for the pre-contractual phase at the request of the interested party, or to execute any contracts concluded with the interested party; and subsequently for the time in which StarSystem IT S.r.l. is subject to obligations of preservation for tax purposes or for other purposes, provided by law or regulation and, in any case until the final prescription of the rights and obligations that may arise from the contractual or non-contractual relationship and / or negotiations between the parties initiated at the request of the person concerned;

b) with reference to the purposes referred to in point 2(c) above, for two years

c) with reference to the purposes referred to in paragraph 2, letter d) above, for the time indicated in the information notice on cookies. For further information please consult the following address.

9. Optional provision of data. Consequences of failure to provide data

Apart from that specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data to request services offered by the company or otherwise indicated in the contacts for any requests and / or communications, but it is necessary for the purposes referred to in paragraphs 2 a) and b), in fact, their failure to provide information may not allow us to get the user the product or service requested.

For the purposes referred to in paragraph 2 c), the refusal to provide data and / or give consent does not have any effect on the legal relationships or negotiations in progress at the request of the person concerned, but precludes the possibility of receiving information and sales promotions of products and / or services of the company.

For the purposes of point 2 d), refusal to give consent and/or removal of cookies may affect the use of the website and, if the computer on which you disable cookies is shared, such removal will affect all users who use that computer.

10. Rights of the person concerned

The data subject to whom the personal data refer has the right at any time to request confirmation that such data is being processed or not and, in this case, to obtain access to the same data pursuant to art. 15 of EU Regulation No. 679/2016 (GDPR); also has the right to request the rectification and/or cancellation of the same or the limitation of the processing of personal data concerning him and to oppose their processing pursuant to Articles. 16, 17, 18 of GDPR, cit: also has the right to portability of the same data pursuant to art. 20 of GDPR, cit.

The interested party who has given consent to the processing of their personal data, where consent is expected and required, may revoke such consent at any time, without affecting the legitimacy of the processing based on consent before revocation.

The same person to whom the processed data refers has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (e.g., in Italy, the Guarantor for the protection of personal data).
